April 22, 2016, the anniversary of Aly's death, a new clinical trial at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center was approved. The trial was made possible due to support from The Aly Wolff Foundation and holds great promise in offering a new line of treatment for those with neuroendocrine tumors. This trial is now open for NET patients in the Midwest.
The Aly Wolff Neuroendocrine Project was initiated at the UW Carbone Cancer Center in spring of 2015. Four UW Carbone Cancer Center scientists were awarded grants to start pilot projects researching neuroendocrine tumors.
